Cream Tea O’clock

Students were able to experience a true ‘English Cream Tea’ today in a beautiful vintage tearoom in Lavenham.

A ‘Cream Tea’ consists of freshly brewed tea, homemade scones, jam, strawberries and clotted cream (typical and only found in England)

Students practised speaking English with the tearoom staff, and were complimented for their excellent manners and sense of humour.

Did they enjoy the typical English afternoon tea? Well, feedback overall was positive, with many students trying tea with milk for the first time.

A lovely experience enjoyed by all (also the staff !).
